What is community rating?
The rating of sustainable development of cities and communities of Ukraine was developed as part of the project "Implementation of the European Energy Award in Ukraine".
This Rating demonstrates the current level and potential of cities and communities in the field of sustainable development. The rating is a public and effective tool for displaying, comparing and analyzing the city economy.
The purpose of the rating
Creation of a national ranking of the sustainable development of Ukrainian communities on an interactive online internet platform in order to popularize the European Energy Label (EEV) certification and quality management system in Ukraine.
Project goals
- Implement an interactive internet platform for transparently highlighting the progress of Ukrainian communities in the development of their energy efficiency according to a defined list of indicators of sustainable development, while the European Energy Award certification and quality management system is a tool for building a system of continuous improvement of the organizational and administrative capacity of local self-government bodies (LMS). to improve these indicators.
- Convenient data collection: the platform will allow communities to enter the collected data in a convenient way, determine the level of their reliability by the source of origin and store confirmation forms on the Internet platform;
- Implement a transparent and effective assessment of the achievements of Ukrainian communities (cities) in the field of sustainable development;
- Energy efficiency indicators are calculated on the basis of entered and verified data according to the relevant algorithms; the platform will create opportunities for comparison by defined criteria/indicators/areas taking into account the characteristics of communities at different time intervals;
- Build annual ratings of the sustainable development of communities based on verified data;
- To make the platform a tool for data analysis and visualization in specific sectors and a tool for highlighting and popularizing the annual ranking of sustainable development and energy efficiency among Ukrainian communities.
- With the help of the sustainable development rating, attract more Ukrainian communities to the implementation of the European Energy Award quality management system and certification.
- Significantly stimulate the strengthening of the energy efficiency of Ukrainian communities.
